  1. "Takes off"?? NIO has had battery swap for years, but that's not the same as "takes off". I wish the video had explained how many NIO owners actually have signed up for the service. It's something you can choose sign up for when you buy the car.

  2. You might be able to squeeze 4sqm of solar panels on a car. 1 sqm can generate max. 200W, or 0.8 kW total. One day can have maximum 6 hours of direct sunlight onto the panels, giving 4.8 kWh/day. With NIOs efficiency, you can drive 34 km/day, but only if the sun shines on the car all the time. More realistically, it's closer to half that amount.
