@shadowrebels1623 1) It's not selfish to not worry. 2) It's not selfish to ride a bicycle. 3) None of my friends or family have expressed concern about high gas prices. Nobody likes high gas prices, but we just rearrange our budget and perhaps avoid buying other things. It's not complicated. Besides, most people expect the high prices to be temporary, lasting maybe a year or so at most.

And yet, the stores are all full of Chinese consumers. I wonder why that is.

I think they were hoping the sanctions would be short lived, so they wanted to wait it out. But now they've realized the sanctions aren't going away, perhaps not for a decade or more, so they had to leave.

@ZooomaCW Haha, they may be, but considering how small they are they can hardly be considered more than a snack.

@ZooomaCW Yes, you're right. Every person and every business will have a 'red line' beyond which they will not go, even if it means they lose out on making money. So, I might be ok taking a job at a butcher shop, but I wouldn't if the job involved killing kittens.
