  1.  @yuzhang7657  "Chinese are not so fool to destroy priceless things". Except the the 75% of relics mentioned above that were destroyed in the Cultural Revolution. It is most reminiscent of the destruction of the Buddha statues in Afghanistan by the Taliban, and the destruction of ancient Sumerian and Babylonian artifacts in Iraq by ISIS. Thinking back, I'm sure there must be many Chinese people who regret the craziness of that period.
