  1. "Every time westerner visits, we get a lecture" And a lot of investment: Between 2010 and 2019, 52% of all FDI into Africa was from the west. So you get money, and maybe you also get a lecture. Lectures are great, you can learn so much from them.

  3. China is the largest foreign investor in Africa, but certainly not the only one. Combined, European countries invest significantly more in Africa than China does, and Europe's economy is not even as big as China's.
