  1. Annual population drop of 0.64%. Crude birth rate of 6.0. What is happening to Japan now will happen to South Korea in 10 years time, and to China in about 20 years. But in the long run, China's population will probably decline much faster than those other two countries. Taiwan, HK, Singapore are dealing with identical problems. The video says that Japan's population will decline 33 mill by 2070. That's 26% down from today. By 2070, China's population could very well drop by 36%, or 500 million, leaving the country with 900 million people, of which 440 million are over 60.
