  1. "Protesters had to wear number tags." Why? It would mean that any bystander who wants to join the protest would commit an illegal act. So regular people can't just join the protest at will, but have to register first.

  2.  @mariawong6965  "we are not the government!" True, in China, people are powerless, but why just hand over power without speaking out? There's a risk to speaking out, but Mao knew that, too, and it didn't discourage him.
