  1.  @Kiyoone  Yes, lithium battery fires are pretty scary, not just in cars but also in smart phones. Fire departments are working on developing more effective methods to extinguish them. That will probably take some time, but they have already developed some special foams that work much better than water, for example. It's a work in progress, as with all new technologies.
