I don't think it's the land price that makes it expensive. -It has be fished out of the sea -The fish need to be cleaned, gutted, and heads cut off -Hung up to dry by hand -Picked back down again -Pressed and packed -Finally, shipped to Lagos. The fishermen, cleaners, processors, handlers, truckers and shipping companies all need to be paid before it can even enter Nigeria.
