  1. Art is very much like fashion (which is also a kind of art). Some people are happy to pay $200 for a simple T-shirt designed by Kanye West, or if it says SUPREME on the front. There's no inherent value in the T-shirt itself, but there's a kind of social value in owning one. But even if you recognize that, you might still really like the T-shirt.
