@bubamaranovichok4901 The US and NATO did beat the Taliban. They killed far more of Taliban, than they lost. That's a win. That's the idea of war, to kill the enemy. They also did this, whilst at the same time keeping the number of civilians killed, to a minimum. The Soviets killed 2 million Afghan civilians.
