@FXT130 NATO would no longer exist at all or at least not grow for decades if Russia were not such an aggressive, imperialistic neighbor. For 30 years, Eastern European countries have been begging to join NATO in order to be protected from Russian dictatorship. Since the Ukraine war, Finland and Sweden have been added. Putin is NATO's main recruiter. Without him and his war crimes, the military alliance would never grow.
