Russia had stationed two army groups in Kursk. Chechen Akhmat units and young inexperienced Russian conscripts. As soon as Kadyrov's Tiktok group saw the Ukrainians crossing the border, they grabbed their goats, ran faster than Usain Bolt, and left the conscripts behind, who then surrendered to the Ukrainians in their hundreds.
