@PerceivedREALITY999 Well, sending people to the moon is in a completely different league than crashing a small probe. The development of the Artemis rocket alone has cost many billions and the mission's budget by 2025 is likely to exceed the estimated 90 billion. However, I'm more of a fan of Space X Star Ship. The most powerful rocket ever built. We can bet whether the West or Russia will enter Mars first. As for the moon, the race has been over since 1969.

@PerceivedREALITY999 Imagine what Russia could achieve in space if, instead of firing thousands of rockets at Ukrainian cities, it had used those engines and resources for lunar exploration. The money the Ukraine war costs would have been enough to build a permanent lunar base. That would be constructive. A step for all mankind. Unfortunately, Putin is a destructive mass murderer and nothing else.
