@alrabbi6194 Democracies join NATO when they apply for membership and meet all membership criteria. This can take a long time, as you can see from the countries in Eastern Europe that have been begging for years to be allowed under NATO's protective umbrella. Democracies join Russia by being invaded with tanks. That's the difference.

@alrabbi6194 "Ukraine and Georgia have the right to join NATO...That is their choice. We respect the right of every state - including our neighbors - to choose their own partners, to decide for themselves which organization they want to join." Sergei Lavrov in an interview with the German Handelsblatt published on January 2, 2005

@alrabbi6194 Permanent war if Ukraine is in NATO? What makes you think that? NATO membership is the only way for a democracy in Russia's neighborhood to be safe from invasion. Neither Georgia nor Moldova's neutrality was of any use against the imperialists in the Kremlin.

@Itachi_88mm The ruble has lost 70 percent of its value against the euro over the last 15 years.

@Itachi_88mm It is practically toilet paper.

@alrabbi6194 Diplomacy with pathological liars is pointless and meaningless.

Russia in Ukraine? Yes!

@et2709 And Russia is historically Mongolian territory... "After Putin's interview, I found a historical map of Mongolia. But don't worry. We are a peaceful democratic and free nation," Former President of Mongolia Tsakhiagiin Elbegdorj

@et2709 But I like your logic, the Manchuria up to Vladivostok is historically part of China. Beijing never forgets this and waits.

@MayankKumar-z5t Do you want to say that Gazprom's official loss reports are a lie or do you just want to distract because you can't think of a counterargument?

The Russians in Ukraine? Yes!

@inquizative44 The reason? “I know that Putin does not tolerate freedom,” I have sat with him on many occasions. He despises differences and competition. He fears a free Ukraine. As a severe narcissist, he couldn’t afford to have more successful or wealthier neighbors.” Former President of Mongolia Tsakhiagiin Elbegdorj
1
@inquizative44 The reason is that democracy, freedom, prosperity and peace in the neighborhood are a threat to Putin's corrupt regime.

You mean what Russia has been doing in Ukraine for 800 days?
1
@Habibi-vy4hy Wrong millennium again. That was the problem between the USA and the Soviet Union. The latter no longer exists. Russia is only the corrupt shadow of it and 144 million Russians have no right to decide about 190 million Eastern Europeans.
