  1. Blanket forgiveness is so dumb. How many upper-middle class kids' parents pay and student loans are spent on interest free cars, vacations, clubbing, etc. Wipe out tuition amounts only, not all student debt, that's just stupid. Bursaries can easily cover books and some living expenses without tuition to pay for. Still better than not, but there's a lot loan abuse, at least that's how it is in Canada.
