  2. People who discourage a person earning a million dollars a year from having a family forget the purpose of money. If she put that salary into dividends or bonds she'd make a middle class income for the rest of her life without ever working again and her kids would be able to inherit the same when she passed. That's assuming she never earned another dime after this 3 year contract concluded, never mind appreciation of assets she already owns, not to mention her husband's... It is insane to me to live to work if the purpose of that work is not to use money so you can live.
