Mehdi has to slow down, I actually want to hear the guest's argument
258
Man slow down, let Noam speak!
46
Superbly done Mehdi, good job
16
Sri Lanka government would have been wise to develop an Amazon style distribution sector, forcing companies to pay to go through them as brokers rather than selling off prime assets. This plan is so near sighted.
16
Mehdi, you're smart enough to be on the right side of the line, less aggressive, more clever and tactful would make you enormously successful, in my opinion.
15
fishysnake1 he's usually pretty good about grilling anyone that sits in front of him, imho. often unfairly but i guess it serves its purpose in discourse.
14
Word. Entitlement is a huge turn off
12
As long as the people are free to leave the camps, what's the issue? They're making aid efforts more efficient by having camps to help shelter, health-care and education of migrants in citizenship limbo. Money seized, if used entirely to support refugees, seems like a lesser evil than being bombed back home. In fact, for their efforts, refugees should offer to volunteer to help out in appreciation if the citizens are facing mounting costs and over crowding a small country. Devil's advocate

Laffer was completely wrong and in being wrong, his model was wrong, which he admitted. What part made sense that wasn't wrong?
11
How are the Serbs allowed to form an army again after West had to intervene to stop an active genocide? Do we seriously have no recollection of contemporary history whatsoever?
10
Idiot
9
fishysnake1 i think he's pretty good at attacking everyone that sits in front of him. he's pretty tough on colonialism and america's war machine in most cases i've seen.
9
What part of employed makes you think she's a killer or rapist? What exactly about her being underemployed scares you?
9
If this dude thinks god is looking at people and their national culpability you have to assume god recognizes your patriotism as anything real lol. It takes the narrowest mind possible.
8
Israel thinks Hamas should be investigated by the icc, the whole world agrees. The whole world agrees Israel should be investigated too, Israel denies their authority. That's pretty dumb, for that to be the official state position on a serious diplomatic conflict of ideas on fundamental human rights
7
Great job man!
7
"hahaha! We we we, we do this all the time, boom and bust haha..." Waay too cavalier about ruining the planet for nothing imho
7
I swear it's just new age coliseum. Bombs, power, drama, gluttony all wrapped up and tevo'd nightly
6
"They're incompetent at stagecraft and they're amateurs at diplomacy" lol ZING!
6
Greg Allen it's jaw-dropping the lengths they go to even just to avoid stating it. It's simply astounding, I agree.
6
The only reason aramco is waiting for is China to overtake the nyse or a USD crisis. Since oil is priced in USD its more a currency play than a commodity play, given that its an extracted resource
6
Harlan: "I'm not going to defend his hipocrisy; and I agree with them. Let's get it done with as little due process as possible" Mehdi is just stupified at 11mins 30s lol
6
"... users can make purchases anonymously and without leaving a trace..." No trace at all.. Certainly not a permanently public ledger tracing coins back to inception lol not a trace at all 🤣😜

alex gummer meaning the middle east may not be where the west is today, but it's the only place that peace has ever lasted for hundreds of years, so to say they're incapable of tolerance and peace is ignorant of reality and history. the 'civilized' comforts you enjoy today were developed by the middle east's scholars while white people of europe were entrenched in the dark ages. that's not just a couple decades of terrorism, that's hundreds of years of world class development of civilization. it's very near sighted to think the west is more advanced, developed or civilized than the middle east, this is just a tiny blip in human history that will most likely correct itself with time if left to its own devices, as the western world that you enjoy has proved. that's "so what"
5
Oh come now AJ, more regulation does not equal better media lol there's enough in this piece to not need to embellish. Pretty ironic that you're sensationalizing a piece on sensationalized journalism... As journalists lol
5
Hard to listen to her, I have to admit. Soooo casual about being violated. Unreal.
5
The problem is having too much debt which has distorted the market by supplying it with wealth before that wealth has been productively generated. The only reason we need credit and so much of it is because savings are effectively useless. THAT'S what's hurting the economy. It's verifiably consistent with historical data.
5
Sometimes I pity Mr hasan lol brutally ignorant that laffer
5
Isn't she kind of screwed now that she's on camera...?
5
Look up and try kratom. You can get exactly the same feeling of morphine, I've replaced my T3 with it. Marijuana is also proven homeopathy. A lot a lot of homeopathy I'd bs, but there's no denying herbs affect the body dramatically.
4
Seriously bad journalism. Good piece, but interviews have turned into reality tv. "when you lost everything, how did that make you feel? When you hear 'arsenic', what did that feel like?" Horrible reporting
4
***** you're not listening to him
3
👍
3
Pinker did really well. Good stuff
3
He's abrasive, yes. That's what "head to head" means - no pussyfooting around, get straight to points of contention and hash them out. That's the function of this program.
3
As a Canadian, I'm proud to protect al-jabri. I hope the world can see why. Due process, let's see his evidence.
3
Lmao! 1st question: "is this the start of another invasion?" -"I don't think it's as bad as the last invasion... "
3
One guest doesn't blink even once in 5 mins... That's good coke.
3
Digilante Jane president would be a good place to start. Saying "you lie" used to be punishable by death if unsubstantiated... Maybe extreme, but certainly a valiant methodology if punitive controls were commensurate with the offence I'd be happy to lock up outright defamatory serial wolf-criers. The first amendment does not cover yelling "fire" in a crowded theatre.
3
Have you ever heard Trump say he had anything easy? Has he ever thanked fortune for acts of god? Lol no, he takes credit for things beyond his control and makes up lies to blame his fuckups on, every time.
3
"is BREXIT failing?" rather than saying "is BREXIT succeeding" is deliberate bias injection. AJ better watch out, or before they know it they'll become another CNN...
3
@LucarioLover12 that's what i said, yes. good. equal justice means all sides are subject to it, that's what we're supposed to be supporting when we advocate for rights and justice. it's the doublespeak i was pointing out that's absurd
3
Brilliant! Shokran
3
"so-called" terrorism? This is an odd time to do this story, considering Saudis demand that Qatar shut down al jazeera... Middle finger much? Lol
3
Allard Freichmann you confuse should with reality. Money isn't currency, and currency is created from thin air by the banks and the banks alone. They alone are allowed to lend multiple times more money than they have, which is creation of currency from nothing, thanks to the "fiat" system we live under. Currency SHOULD be the people's, but it isn't by any definition under today's laws in any G20 country.
3
"These stakes really could not be higher" lol pun intended?
3
United Settlements of Semitic Repropritors. USSR... Then America will look at their name on the map and go "uh oh, I think we did it again..."
3
Lol the reporter is using a Mac in this video - planned obsolescence producing a video on planned obsolescence. It's recursion at its finest 😜

The disruption of cycles is man-made ramifications of carbon and gas emissions. Anyone thinking nat gas is clean doesn't understand the short term impacts of nat gas emissions nor the implications of short term heat greenhouse gases compounding long term greenhouse effects caused by heat waves. Exponentiation isn't well grasped by most people in most places, that's why most people suck at being responsible with money, pandemics, social media, and addictive substances. Our brains are terrible at properly weighing derivatives and long term outcomes which are dependent on recursive priors.
2
Well... "can't" is a strong way to phrase it. Dominating a mining pool could have a bad actor mint and/or steal coins from anyone on the blockchain if they verify their own transactions through the mining pool.
