  1. The woman unfortunately misunderstood the question. The answer to medhi is "a party can be islamic, in that they restrict their membership, but a competing party may gain more support with the same values but minus the restriction of requiring faith as a prerequisite. So a party can be islamic without pushing a Muslim agenda because its purpose assumes the people are already devout. It's not necessary to promote your faith politically if the government is fair and true. Doing well would demonstrate the greatness of their faith rather than by imposed regulation or expansion of restrictions."
