  1. The real impact is on the economy, and China isn't to blame there. With the exception of Sweden, that almost ignored it, and a few Asian countries that were used to these kinds of situations and had a population willing to follow guidelines, it was the government response, not the virus, that was the cause of the damage done. They didn't need to make it in a lab, it could have been cultivated, or it could have simply been that they didn't let a good "crisis" go to waste. That said, there's no evidence of it being artificially created, and it's just as likely to have been incompetence as grand design that let it out. As a biological weapon, it's pretty ineffective.
