  2. Corps are really worried about is populism at the STATE level, because THAT'S where corporations are CHARTERED! Popular control of corporate behavior! The charter can specify profit rate limits, for instance, effectively "communizing" corporations. Good for the people, bad for the elites. The behavior of these behemoth corporations, especially internationally, is a huge threat to legitimate governance. Fixing that would be a big fix...
