  1. Styx may be underestimating the potency of Trump's populist movement. In the near term (<5 yrs), I see a dysfunctional democrat party specializing in obstruction as the only claim it can make to relevancy. I see Trump's momentum carrying through the next 15 years. The dems' traditional "footholds" are filling in as Trump continues to work; their power base is softening. The social tech nightmare blurs the lines between left and right; so the support of that base is softening. I'm looking forward to a decade of weak democrats...
