  1. Pelosi's a fish out of water now: she's too used to operating from a position of privilege/advantage to accommodate the current need for temperament. She'll flounder embarrassingly until she's mercifully ousted in favor of a more conventional negotiator, someone undemented and self-composed and articulate (for a change). After an election cycle or two, the dems could be semi-respectable again.
