  1. Occultism is a search for HIDDEN truth. Nature is a truth that hides a deeper truth, hence the term, "hidden". It's an effort to understand what underlies Nature's imperatives which are so impressive upon our natures as truth. The value of "obscenity" is in disrupting the hypnotic effect of Nature's persistent presence as an inner influence--break It's spell--so that the more objective perspectives may operate efficiently, without undue emotional resistance. The world seems to present a good vs evil conflict, that is, actually, a misapprehension...But it's hard to get there before you've destroyed both "good" and "evil"...hehehe...
