Wouldn't it be something if it was shown that nothing could have eliminated the violence that catches our attention, because the people enacting the violence do so out of general severe incompetence. That is, they are very low IQ, emotionally inept, and spiritually bereft. These are not educable remediable human beings; they are loose cannons, as they exercise no special self-discipline. And they number enough for their violence to be problematic to community standards of safety, causing great consternation amongst normal people.
