  1. "The proof of the pudding is in the eating." Science is just one investigative technology. Traditionally, the other two major approaches are "mysticism" and "occultism", wherein the concept of "proof" has a different value (meaning and purpose) than in science. Ultimately, the only value "proof" has is in perfecting conviction/faith/certainty; your body and mind respond to what you truly believe in exactly the same way as they do to "reality", there being, in reality, no difference: reality is as you truly believe it to be.
