HPB has always been a horrid personage to me, for no rational reason. I don't like her look. As an occult historian, I can accept her contribution. But as an occult practitioner, I see nothing there. Of the occultists of that place and time, only D. Fortune/V. Firth seemed genuinely pointed, as opposed to the pointlessly obfuscated language of the others.
