  1. I'm glad Zuck's doubling down: it keeps the issue alive in the popular perception, where opposition has more time to mature. The Zuckman is toast. The whole idea that platforms/providers can/should exercise a DECISIVE and DAMAGING political influence against its customers is one that has to be seriously hashed-out, like, now. Because this is how oppression makes itself FELT; when your credit card declines your grocery charge because you're trying to buy a high-fat food that your doctor has decided acts in a way contrary to the best interests of your health, and the interests govt has in reducing healthcare costs...yea, how do you FEEL then? Do you feel properly chastised? Or do you feel properly powerless?
