  1. Maybe everybody pussyfoots around with south Africa because gold and diamonds. In fact, for what other reason would "ethical" countries look askance as the govt of SA abuses white people BECAUSE they are white. You thought SA USED to be racist, in the days of "apartheid", but I suspect you'll see the real thing now. The same sort of mindlessness is happening in the US, where the obvious is vehemently denied routinely by the agenda-driven. The best explanation I've come across is the lack of sun spot activity...it makes people crazy.
