  1. Hey, Styx, what about Ed Markey?! I remember his measured manner, but not much else. His FACE is what's important! He would be a traditional dem with, maybe, enough radical cred to appeal, passably, to the far left. His running mate would have to be male, but non-white would probably fly alright. Who else looks the part?!

  2. There's a "silent majority" who don't make a big show of their thoughts; they keep their own council. You won't even see them in surveys--they don't take surveys. They will casually deflect commitment when faced with decadent manners. The ARE "political surprise"! Dems are so clueless...
