  1. I think you're wrong on the last point: Trump should not back off in choosing his next supreme court nominee because there's no advantage to it. He benefits most by eliciting the dems' true colors for all to see. Keep the pressure on while the deep state is still safely ensconced. It might even be alright to NOT replace Ginsberg immediately, since one less liberal automatically boosts the proportion of conservatives in the remainder of the court. There's plenty of time to duke out a nomination confirmation.
