  1. Been thinkin': Impeachment of Congress: it's only by convention that Congress has been immune from impeachment. But from the constitutional perspective, they have to be considered, "civil officials", to be susceptible to impeachment. That's not a high bar; the rationale for them to consider themselves other than "civil officials" is WEAK! But it occurs to me that that immunity is the source of profitable corruption in Congress: insider trading is legal for them. The idea that they have to know what Trump's financial motives are, while, Congress members' own investments are IGNORED, is a direct result of Congress's immunity from impeachment. If they, themselves, stood to be similarly "impeached", they would act quite differently! Guaranteed! Congress critters should be forced to divest upon entering office, just like Trump was--and impeachment should be on the table for Congress people, just like it is for Executive people.
