  1. With each compromise of societal norms cohesion of society diminishes. Legal abortion means loss of social control, by norm, or taboo, over promiscuity. With no pregnancy to hide, the promiscuous are harder to identify and, therefore, marginalize, and correspondingly freer to promote deviance in society.
