  1. Cortez should be banned for satirizing herself! As a civilization we still haven't resolved the speech vs action dilemma: "I wanna say what I want" meets "you get to say what you want, too". It's not yet an immediate reaction to extend to others the privileges one assumes to oneself. The PURPOSE of information is to RADICALIZE, to prompt to action and understanding, and this is always dangerous to entrenched powers. The covert censorship is suppression of speech through socialization: you learn the "right and wrong" things to say--a pattern of normalcy is imposed. When the lines are so clearly drawn, the boundaries are obvious, so, transgression is assumed to be deliberate/purposeful/subversive. But this can only function peacefully in monocultural societies. It's nobody's FAULT, it's just naturally correct.
