  1. So...who IS "Jack Smith", anyway? It's a nondescript name, right up there with "John Doe". Why this guy should come to hold this position?! Apparently, Jack served in The Hague as a chief prosecutor of war crimes for four years before stepping down from his brand new second term. On the same day Garland appointed him! How interesting! It would seem Garland wanted Smith specifically for this job...why?
