  1. When I deleted my account I had to Google how to do it. There's no prompts on the site itself to delete an account, only to disable it. I guess they don't want anyone to leave once they're sucked in. Maybe that's changed, but it's how it was a few years ago when I had an account.

  2. I'm still operating on Windows 7 but there are some things that don't work. It's annoying. My wife has a Facebook account and mostly uses it as a messenger service among her friends, as Styx stated here. It seems that's what most people do with it.
