  1. What good is a car with a 200-300 mile range then needing a lengthy recharge? How do you take any kind of a road trip with a vehicle like that? And they're expensive, too. I'm sure as hell not buying one.

  6. I'll believe it when I see it. A friend of mine has a Chevy Volt. I's nothing but headaches. Charging in the same amount of time it takes to fill up with gaolines? Less than 5 minutes in most cases? I'd like to see a battery with that capability.

  7. You won't charge an electric car in the short amount of time it takes to fill up with gas. I'm glad I'm not buying one regardless of any advantages they may or may not have.

  8. EV's haven't been economically viable or practical as a means of transportation since the beginning of the 20th Century. Many companies have tried and failed. It works well for commuter trains. That's about it.

  9. Thumbs up for now, but i'll believe it when I see it as far as small modes of transportation for private individuals; cars, motorcyles, etc. But i'm not buying an electric car! :-)
