  1. I'm sure some people in CA want to vote for Trump; maybe more than you think. I'd bet this is where it's really coming from. Trump should be able to win this case hands down.

  2.  @elpilonvideo  It's not that simple. The federal government dictates the terms for which a presidential candidate appears on a ballot. No other president has been required to produce tax returns before he can be put on a particular state's ballot. CA's law is against the constitution. If push comes to shove the supreme court will shoot it down. This is no more than Governor Newsom harassing a president he doesn't like. He's also depriving his residents of their right to vote for whom they choose. Governors are not authorized to ban a sitting president from a state's ballot because they don't like him. Democrats and republicans should be concerned about any state overstepping its bounds in this manner.
