Trump's no less a loose cannon now than he has been all along, but the notion of a third-party coalition against him, or sitting in the corner and pouting rather than supporting him, is no answer. The Republican poo-bahs ought to be cultivating him and trying to influence his candidacy, instead of alternately sulking and grandstanding about their lofty principles. Donald Trump is the Obama legacy, and the Republican Party is as much to blame as Obama himself for it. Any Republican would be better than a third Clinton administration.
