  1. Natalia Veselnitskaya admitted last April that she was an informant, although not a Russian agent. Ostensibly she secured the meeting at Trump Tower on the basis of having damaging information on Hillary Clinton. It was a con game. The Fusion GPS people employed her to contrive a connection between the Trump campaign and the Russians. The substance of her meeting with Kushner and Trump, Jr. is irrelevant. They wanted the appearance of complicity — and they got it. The dossier was icing on the cake. The operation is a disgusting exercise in duplicity fully worthy of the Clinton mafia and, apparently, the World's Smartest Man. If Obama is remembered as the nation's most corrupt president and the Democratic Party winds up collapsing as a result, we'll know whom to blame.
