Any lie will do, and the press will lay down covering fire.There are millions of people out there who think it would be just wonderful, finally, to have a woman president. They'll vote for the aging Hillary with no qualms. The vicious personality and devious mind that go with her doesn't matter, much less real credentials for the job. Millions more who think that common sense equals racism, that importing Muslim refugees and shielding illegal Mexicans from deportation, or allowing others to enter the country by the thousands every month, is noble and good. It's what America is all about. Not much basis there for optimism. Trump has his work cut out for him.

Little, if any, consideration was given to his qualifications. A high level of disgust with GWB, deservedly so, also contributed to his winning. His administration is one of, if not the worst, in the nation's history. Hillary is a cross between a mid level policy wonk and a snake oil salesman. If elected, she'll continue the disastrous policies of Obama. I'm confident the American public is smart enough to know better and take the country in a different direction on this election day. The democrats will be the ones to go down whining and shrieking.

He has appointed a black woman to reach out to African Americans. Many Hispanics support him. If you do a little research you can see for yourself. If people are foolish enough to blindly support the democratic party no matter who the candidate is, which is the case with many people, the nation as we knew it wills change irrevocable, and not for the better. I'm not willing to acquiesce up and draw the conclusion we as a people, regardless of demographics, are that foolish.

  14. ladislav lowenstein Trump has a good chance at taking all the states you mention. According to a news article published just today his support among blacks and Hispanics is also increasing dramatically way over what Romney had. That could be devastating for the Clinton campaign. Calling people oafs and ignoramuses uses because they don't support Hillary means nothing. We'll see what election day brings. Hillary's e-mails and her vote on Iraq will dog her right up to November 8th and most likely cost her the election.

The MSM keeps beating us over the head about how poorly he's doing with women, but I don't believe it. Mr. Trump appears to be transitioning into presidential material and scaring the shit out of establishment poiticians here and abroad even more than during the primaries. There's nothing like interrupting the status quo to make its beneficiaries quake in their boots. As you know, I don't fool myself that his presidency will be all sweetness and light. We have to start somewhere, though, and it would be nice if it were with a president who believed in the country and had both an idealistic vision and the practical negotiating skills to make it at least a partial reality. I hope he resists temptation and he knows when to stay silent and let her bury herself. If, that is, she doesn't cancel to continue her program of rest and staying out of the public eye. We can probably be sure that whatever it is that's ailing her they'll have her heavily medicated and with her earpiece in place to receive prompts if she gets befuddled.
