  1. Korea neglected the adoptee community for decades, but recently (5-10yrs) have really stepped up in trying to make amends. Adoptees can become dual citizens now if they so choose.

  2. I knew a twin adoptee where they split them intentionally (1 stayed in Korea, the other got adopted to the US). And she was in contact with her birth family when she became a young adult. It was just weird.
