  1. NYC price to income ratio is in the 10-11 range. San Francisco is around 7-8. There are 3rd tier cities in China at the peak north of 20. Shanghai / Beijing was around 50. It's pretty normal for lower income countries to have 1 or 2 cities at a high price to income because of a concentration of rich people. It was everywhere in China.
