  1. TYT, love ya. But Psaki did the right thing, in order to help inform unhinged idiots that the federal government does not proactively involve itself in labor-management relations. If there's something shady going on, by either side, that's where the NLRB comes in. And you need to have a solid case, with class action-sized evidence to prove it. Psaki wanted to dispel any notions that the Executive Branch was going to wrongfully put its finger on the scale. We all know how these uninformed news agencies love to spin shit. However, I do see your point. His administration has been legally bribed by Amazon, among other corporations as well.

The sycophants in Congress are afraid to call him out on anything. Why would he want a Twitter account nowadays? He has his own social media outlet...one he himself hasn't joined, which should tell you plenty. And, finally, Democrats and Republicans are, for the most part, both part of the same team of elites. I'm no fan of Biden. He's actually the 80's version of a moderate Republican, as are most of the Democratic caucus. Republicans have evolved into a quasi-fascist group of sniveling, greedy hate-mongers.

  9. He always did, and, yes, got himself into a pickle when his employees moved to create one. It had to hurt to have to put that shoe on the other foot. However, his company did not collapse into bankruptcy, like he most likely feared.

  12.  @guyyates3284  Hear, hear! And my dues were less than that, about $25/paycheck. I also served as a shop steward for about 7 years. It helped keep the chaos to a minimum. And several times I had to agree with the employer, because the Contract pointed the issue out in no uncertain terms. (The tended to piss off some members, and non members...open shop union.)

  13. It's allegedly neutral, but the board is comprised of 5 members who are appointed by the President (with consent of the Senate) to a 5-year term. So, as you can see, like has happened with federal and Supreme Court judge selections, it can have political influence. Currently, the board consist of two Republican members and one Democratic member. The administration replaced Republican board member John Ring as the chairman of the NLRB with member Lauren McFerran. (He remains a sitting member until December 16, 2022.) McFerran is the sole Democratic member on the NLRB. Republican member William Emanuel’s term expired on August 27, 2021. That's two vacant seats on the board that give President Joe Biden an opportunity to make it a 3-2 Democratic board...with consent of the Senate. We both know that won't happen, first, because Republicans' one and only campaign platform is to "own the Libs." Second, because Biden is basically a moderate Republican himself, and, again, he wants those corporate money donations.

  15.  @1369Stiles  I totally get that. The Republican Party invents crap to incite its base, who seem to not care that nothing's really getting done for them. The Democratic Party makes all these lofty promises to its constituents that it never intends to keep. Both are in line to their apparent masters, corporations and the the rich. I just hope that Pelosi has the backbone this time to not cry (or pretend to) when she hands her gavel over to her Republican replacement this November. It's 2010 all over again, and it's obvious the Democratic Party didn't learn from its mistakes. We're never going to achieve greatness again with this amount of money in politics. Congress needs an enema.
