Is anyone even arguing about hiring? It's obvious that if management cannot afford to have its employees take contractually agreed upon sick leave, it has a work force problem. It has caused its own problem through attrition. All of it just to turn a nickel.

My fear is that Biden will do what Reagan did to the air traffic controllers back in the 80's. He'll slice through the CBA and have them fired. On August 5, 1981, following the PATCO workers' refusal to return to work, the Reagan administration fired the 11,345 striking air traffic controllers who had ignored the order, and banned them from federal service for life.

Except in this case, where it seems more like AOC is playing the simp card. Jayapal is the only Progressive who voted YES.

I don't think anyone was arguing that. But surprising that AOC voted NO. And even more surprising that Jayapal voted YES. It's usually been the other way around.

@adampike3834 I'm starting to figure that out. What she does for her district is admirable, but at the national level she seems a pushover.
