The problem is that she turned 180 about 2 weeks into her campaign. Her numbers shot up because she was promoting populist policies. Then her consultants and probably other fellow establishment Dems convinced her to drop that strategy and just be a Biden clone. Well, his numbers were low, and the moment she said she'd be Biden 2.0 we all watched her numbers drop to match his. If she'd kept with populist policies, she'd have won. In 2020, she bragged about not taking any big-donor money. In 2024, she raised (and wasted) $1 billion, from the uber-rich. And she lost.

The economy was doing well while Drumpf was in office (not because he had anything to do with it), and the economy suffered while Biden was in office (not because he had anything to do with it). But 76 million voters (while a large number stayed home) apparently think there was a cause and effect. Drumpf said the economy was caused by the Dems, and the Dems just rolled over on their backs, eventually bragging about how many billionaires endorsed them. Such a farse.
