Praying for all Christians in Japan. Am an Indian Christian 🇮🇳 ✝️

@shellbythesea12 ok but still getting karmic satisfaction out of the fact that your ex and his siblings didn't get married and have families is pretty...weird. If it was me, I would hope me ex finds his happiness elsewhere somewhere down the line. Honestly, I would've gotten over it maybe after about 10 years or so.... it's been over like 30 years now for you....so weird.
66
Considering today's trends Japanese women are going to say Korean men.
65
@shellbythesea12 bruh how could you feel that way towards your ex who i assume didn't leave you cuz he hated you but just family issues.
56
Honestly the best man💀😭😭
50
Because you're a blonde blue eyed girl, you were treated well... that's all it boils down to
33
@JB-rl8ki weirdo.
18
@spoddie You sound frustrated and confused. I don't play by both sides. I don't worship no 100 different Hindu gods alongside Christ. I'm just pointing out that your premise that a Faith being supposedly "foreign" should discourage me following it, is dumb. If we really were to strictly follow such rules we should do away with many Indian gods who are actually foreign gods from ancient Iran and the Steppe.
16
@spoddie Many Indian Gods are foreign legends and pagan Gods from ancient Iran and Eurasia. But people adopted them as their own here.... Faith has nothing to do with where it originated from to people who believe in them.
16
@spoddie Yahweh did create all of mankind with a functioning brain besides you so I understand where you're coming from.
15
Boring

@nessyness5447 Lol, you're spitting the same old stereotypes you picked from the internet here and there. I HAVE worked in Japan. MOST Japanese salarymen don't want to engage with the Japanese workforce AT ALL! Companies don't assume that women will leave after they give birth. It's literally what happens: they give birth and give up career almost entirely. This has led to companies being wary about employing women full-time. Japanese women are presented with two paths: participating in the depressing work culture of Japan or housewife lifestyle. And a lot of them understandably pick the latter. Men don't have the househusband lifestyle readily available to them. And hence end up getting the short end of the stick. It's so weird how y'all are trying to make it seem like women are having it sooo bad in Japan. Like Christ calm down. Ultimately everything does boil down to Japan's social problems pertaining to work culture and unaddressed mental health problems, not "social expectations for your gender" bs like the orginal commenter suggests.

@ZS89908 So? People from different countries should HAVE different accents. Only insecure people who want to copy anglos will sound like native speakers.
13
weaboo1944 wait is Ukraine still alive? 🤣🤣🤣
12
@yas2316 It's just internationally dominant Western media promoting those stereotypes.
12
More Japanese men should date foreign women.
11
@digitalboyfriend1173 he's obviously exaggerating and making shit up to put himself in a more positive light lol
11
@melteixie1618 do me a favour. Look up surveys and stats(both private and government funded) and see what percentage of Japanese women (who have finished college) want to stay as housewives voluntarily ....and then come back to this conversation. Your perception about Japanese ladies might slightly change.
10
@unknowguy7604 Apparently they're more popular than Western male Japanese female youtubers...so you're clearly wrong. 😂
10
Wait I noticed this too!!! I think Racheal and Jun are the most popular Japanese male foreign woman couple! I also like Oriental Pearl and that Japanese guy British woman youtuber couple, Oshare Japan, etc.
10
@QuinnTheTailor it's just plain old inferiority complex. My cousin and I are South Asian. She was unable to get married until like 28-29 cuz she had weird standards for the local men here but as soon as she got the chance to study abroad in UK and spent some time in the UK... she's now married to some Brit who looks like a literal potato and his income is lower than my cousin's too. I was quite suprised how she lowered her standards so much to get that white guy. I don't even feel like she's happy now... most of the time she just calls her parents and vents about this and that about living in UK with him.
10
@FSVR54 They're just a loud minority haha. Screaming in joy that they can finally live their anime dream (which will just stay as a dream) 😂😂.
9
Nah man... that's just you assuming a lot about yourself negatively. Nowadays, a lot of foreign women are open to dating Japanese. Japanese guys should give it a shot even if you think they'll reject you! We need a nice balance of Japanese male foreign woman and foreign man Japanese female haha.
8
Japanese guys also seem to dress more fashionably on average than Western guys don't they?
8
@nessyness5447 at this point you're just making me 🥱🥱🥱🥱. Japanese men aged 18-35 do take part in doing their share of household chores. That was what I observed back in the day and I safely assume it has only gotten better with time. Women not giving enough birth has a whole set of issues contributing to that problem. Women from most developed countries don't give enough births but western countries are able to artificially dwarf this effect due...to immigration and high immigrants' birth rates. In Japan, increasing living costs, Government's bad family planning policies, gruelling work culture--a whole set of issues lead to low birth rates. And the people who are going to suffer from this demographic collapse aren't just men, it's both Japanese men and women.
8
@nessyness5447 yes they're shamed if they're not married by 30 and whatnot. But they're not shamed for being working wives.
8
Japanese guys are great!
8
she doesn't look like him at all.
8
It's not rare. Japanese males marry out more than Japanese females. But Japanese males' top foreign partners are Korean, Filipinos, Brazilians, Chinese....and western women. So yeah Western white or black women are at the bottom of the list.
8
Thats not what chivalry is. Thats basic human niceness and thoughtfullness to help someone out.
7
@P-r-a-n-a-v No he's saying Japanese men inter-marry more. Which is true. But Japanese men don't marry western women.
7
Exactly. As an Asian I can confirm that a lot of Asian women have this extreme inferiority complex or fetish or idolize Western men! Which makes it easier for foreign men in Japan to date local girls.
7
No they just have awkward language/vocabulary for dating. You have to keep in mind that in Western world dating as a culture started by almost 1940s in some countries. Whereas in Japan I think it's as recent as '80s. They followed arranged marriages set up by parents. So I'm assuming when a Japanese guy says "I love you" it's more like "Hey I like you shall we go through the steps to end up in a relationship".
7
You should've dated a full Japanese guy!
6
I'm also from a country where we say I love you rather quickly from a foreigner perspective. But we don't literally mean that we totally "love you from the bottom of the heart, less go have babies" or something. It's just awkward language for "let's begin the steps for forming an exclusive relationship".
6
@julianneheindorf5757 It is simply not.
6
Yeah Osaka is more direct and open!
6
Lol go to a dating site.
5
@namastewoke5197 no it's just a misuse of the original English slang for dating that's adopted in their language. It doesn't lower the value of a date to "3rd" rate because it's just using the wrong diction to express an idea. That's about it. I'm surprised Takashi didn't push back on this to explain it.
5
@shanlll that Japanese men are not as preferred because they're not masculine and romantic enough. You generalized an entire ethnicity.
5
@Freak-px9uk He's attractive; he doesn't have to care about what these average chicks think of Japanese men.
5
Ummm...no. for today's young Japanese men this stereotype is just a stereotype. Not reality. Stop spreading misinformation. My cousin sister is married to traditional Japanese guy. (he works, sister stay at home mom). The guy helps my sister and does some chores every day to share her burden.
5
@mahek3017 why are you spamming this everywhere
5
One thing tho. What's the ratio of foregn girls to foreign guys in Japan? Maybe it's more skewed towards the foreign guys side?
5
@melteixie1618 That's not strict gender roles and social expectations. Nobody forces these women to give up their careers and become housewives. That's the point. Heck, every Japanese man would love to be a househusband if the women over there were willing to provide for them cuz no Japanese wants to put up with their soul-sucking work culture.
4
If you can speak Japanese i think you have a chance.
4
He's so cute too
4
@MrCaptainTea Not in my experience!
4
@Alexandra_Indina I've not seen Indina as a Russia female name 🤔
4
Sounds fun. I'll look into it.
