  1. The only thing the so-called affordable care act did was raise the costs for those of us who actually pay for our insurance. We have sky high premiums, deductibles and out of pocket expenses and less freaking coverage. It did absolutely nothing to change anything for those who are on Medicaid In fact as a population health management nurse during that time I can assure you those on Medicaid had no idea anything had changed for anyone. The government needs to back the hell up and get out of the insurance industry and everything else at this point
