We give them anywhere from 30 to 60 g of carbs first thing in the morning for their school breakfasts not counting milk and then at lunch we give them some more nonsense that is absolutely unhealthy and totally processed (and bio-engineered according to the pkg )and then we wonder why all of our kids are obese... They only get 30 minutes of PE once or twice per wk and can't even spell at grade level or read a clock. The education system is failing miserably and has been for a very long time.
