  4. I don't know what makes Pritzker say that. Trump was prez for 4 years before, and I don't know of anybody in Illinois who lost their rights or became more vulnerable. What I know, though, is that under Biden/Harris, grocery prices have gone up exponentially: my Jewel and Mariano's receipts reflect it quite accurately.

  7.  @zman3535  Who took the Palestinians' country and where was that country in the first place? There has never been a country/state named Palestine. It didn't exist in the history of mankind. It was a territory ruled by different rulers at different times, the last 2 being Turkey/Ottoman Empire and the UK. The UK left its mandate in 1948 and the State of Israel was proclaimed on the land allocated to it by the UN the year prior. The Arabs refused to set up their state and went to war w/Israel which they lost. Their land was confiscated by Egypt and Jordan. In 2005, Gaza was made an independent state which in 2023 invaded Israel and started the current war. What do they want now?

  13.  @mmboiler10  Russia has always been a borderline 3rd world country, I agree b/c they're poor, and the reason they're poor is b/c their budget is invested in the military, which is where they're actually on par w/the rest of the world. Ukr, however, is not even 3rd world, they're 6th world. They're zilch. They would've been better off staying w/Russia and taking orders from them as before. At least, they would be alive.

  14. I am glad Israel is not asking your opinion as to what it should do. Israel will stay in Gaza until Hamas is dead, the hostages freed and Gaza restored and repopulated by Jews, while its Arab populace mostly gone. Sorry it doesn't agree w/your vision.

  16.  @wisdomsleuth77777  Pretty sure there are new Naz-i-s in many countries but in Ukr, there are also old Naz-i-s. In Ww2, Ukr fell to Germany and locals rejoiced and cooperated. I guess I can understand in part at least, they hated the Russians more than the Germans, I guess.

  19.  @user-jz2tw8fg2s  The Arabs refused to set up their country when they were offered this opportunity in 1947, refused 4 times afterwards, allowed their lands to be taken by Egypt and Jordan, allowed Gaza, which was their state created in 2005, to become a launchpad of ter--rror, went to war that they lost time and time again, and so now it's too late for them, sorry. Neither Israel nor Jordan is willing to carve land out of their countries to accommodate this hostile populace and set up a state for them. No neighboring Arab countries, such as Egypt, Syria, etc are willing to even admit them, let alone give them a state. There is nothing anybody can do for them at this time. Sorry. Peoples who wanted a country got a country, those who didn't, those who wanted to perpetuate their fake refuge status will perpetuate it. It's their choice.

  20.  @msimon6808  Maybe things have since changed, but when I lived in Moscow, it was all controlled by Russia, Moscow made decisions for the satellites and outsourced accordingly. At that time anyway, Ukr was designated as an agricultural zone. The Baltic states had a bit more expertise in electronics, like making TV's etc. Maybe now they got ppl from other countries to work for them, not sure though. They're very poor, how much can they pay?. I know they tried to buy weapons from Israel but Israel wasn't eager to sell them either b/c they're enemies of Israel. But one way or the other, it seems like in the current conflict, they have no chance against Russia. Just my 2 bucks here.

  23. Ukr has no chance against Russia. Ukr has always been Russia's backwater province, no more. They really have nothing of their own, Moscow provided everything and controlled everything. I think the longer the war goes on, the more Ukr ppl will die but they'll never win. All the sacrifices are in vain. But guessing the Ukr gov doesn't think so. They're like Hama$, the more the merrier. They're forgetting though that Russia is no Israel, there will be no pressure on it to stop the war. They'll go on until the end, until Ukr is no more. Just my 2 bucks here.

  24.  @nadilene789  Most likely they are. Gaza is an independent state under its own gov, Hama$. There are no Israelis there, hence no apartheid, unless you mean Egypt's control, but if so, take it up w/them. Yehuda/Shomron are Israel. The land is no longer in dispute, ceded to Israel by Jordan in the 1990s, and Jordan, by the way, occupied it illegally from 1948 to 1967. Now Jordan's borders are sealed also, and thus, talk to Jordan if you're upset. The checkpoints are there for security, not for segregation, just like you go through it in airports and gov buildings in the US. Take care.

  32.  @season306  That's Israel except that it has no border w/Saudi Arabia. Saudi borders Jordan,. There is also Lebanon in the north that borders Israel. So Israel sits between Syria and Lebanon in the north, Egypt in the southwest, Jordan in the East. There is also a border between Gaza and Israel in the west along w/the Mediterranean sea that goes along the entire western edge of Israel. I am not seeing a place called Palestine in this layout.

  33.  @season306  Gaza City is the capital city of Gaza. Gaza is a small enclave that sits between Israel and Egypt and the Mediterranean sea. The size of Gaza is approximately the size of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Gaza has been an independent state since 2005, it's not a parliamentary democracy or a republic, it's an autocratic terrorist entity under the leadership of Yahia Sinwar. So again, this is not Palestine, it's Gaza. So where is that Palestine that you claim has been recognized by many countries? What did they recognize?

  36.  @Tyiion  Hamas is a de facto gov body of Gaza which was democratically elected by a landslide. Gaza is a proto state which is self governing. It's not under anybody's jurisdiction.

  37.  @jonathanwilliams7920  No Sir, the war was started by Hamas and supported by Iran and its proxies. Neither the UK nor the US had anything to do w/it. They might've had vague intel, just like Israel itself did, but no real info, and they certainly had no part in instigating it.

  50. It tells me that there is peacetime vs wartime strength. FDR ordered mobilization after Pearl Harbor despite the standing army. Israel ordered the mobilization of reserves despite the standing army. It tells me this is how it's done I believe. I don't know, I am no longer in Russia and never been in the Russian army in the first place so not sure how they operate but logically speaking it's like that. Russia beat the living cr-a-p out of the Germans after almost entire Europe fell to them. Ukr is basically a bunch of nothings.
