  1. Of course you won't see it you're not a 56yr old 6'5" 275lbs black man, trust me bigotry and racism exist in Texas. When some 5'8" fat potbelly sheriff looks up at me and calls me boy and I can't put my hands on him. (well I can but not w/o getting a case) There's still a lot of towns where people like me aren't welcome after dark. Most people are nice in Texas but I've met my share of a-holes there. Just because you don't see it doesn't mean it doesn't exist. I've experienced the same problem in more states than you can imagine. Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia just to name a few even parts of Florida where I live. (manly central Florida) I actually like Texas, I wouldn't live there but that's me. Besides I hate the Cowboys, America's team my ass, I don't get a vote on that.
